Refund policy

Last updated 6 Oct 2026

If you buy something on Allegedly and you're not happy, you get your money back. Here's how.

*The short version

  • 30 days, no questions asked: a full refund.
  • Ask Paddle (through your receipt or paddle.net), or email us.
  • Right now Awards Night is free while we launch, so there's nothing to refund yet.

The promise

Ask within 30 days of buying an Awards Unlock or an Allegedly Pass and we will give you a full refund. You don't need to give a reason.

How to ask

Paddle.com sells Allegedly for us as our reseller and Merchant of Record, so refunds go through Paddle:

  • Open the receipt email from Paddle and follow its link to your order, or go to paddle.net and find your purchase. Choose Request refund.
  • Or email us at hello@allegedly.chat with the email address you used and roughly when you bought. We will ask Paddle to refund you.

What happens next

Paddle sends the money back the way you paid, within 14 days of approving the refund (your bank may take a few more days to show it). Once a refund goes through, that unlock or Pass stops working.

After 30 days

Write to us anyway. If something didn't work, we will put it right, and we will always refund where the law requires it.

Your legal rights

This policy adds to your legal rights; it doesn't replace them. In the EU, the UK and some other places, consumers have a legal right to cancel some digital purchases, and South Africa's Consumer Protection Act protects you too. Paddle's refund policy explains the rights that apply to purchases it handles.

Before you dispute a charge

Please ask us or Paddle first: a refund is quicker than a dispute with your bank. The charge on your card statement comes from Paddle (often shown as PADDLE.NET), so look for that name.

During the launch offer

While we launch, Awards Night is free and nothing is for sale, so there is nothing to refund yet.
